About Me
Susan Avon is a strategic focused thought leader with over 15 year's experience navigating process, space planning and programming along with operational readiness in Healthcare and Technology settings. Most recently she held the role Director of Space Planning at Moffitt Cancer Center where her responsibilities included Scenario Planning and Master Plan Development for 20 buildings across 9 campuses. During her tenure at Moffitt, Susan led several strategic projects including the development of 2 new ambulatory centers, 4 office buildings and a 192 bed surgical inpatient hospital. She adeptly managed the continuous renovation and adaptation of existing facilities to meet the evolving needs of clinical, research and administrative needs while continuing to push new strategic projects forward.
Susan is passionate about synthesizing seemingly disparate ideas, goals, and data into cohesive decisions, plans, and solutions. She attributes her success to cultivating trust-based relationships, understanding and respecting culture, and challenging the status quo to drive impactful outcomes.
